| Composer Dai Fujikura brings together top musicians Lore Lixenberg, James Widden, David Toop (laptop), E.Laine, OKEANOS and Pascal Gallois for an evening of music which includes the following 3 worldpremieres: Dai Fujikura’s "Okeanos Cycle" written for and dedicated to the Japanese/Western mixed ensemble OKEANOS, a new work by David Toop and an electronic work with video born from a collaboration between Fujikura and Ryuichi Sakamoto. These 3 new works are placed beside seminal pieces in the contemporary repertoire: Pascal Gallois performs Berio's "Sequenza" (which was written for him), "Toccatina" for solo violin by Lachenman and "Recitations" for solo voice by Georges Aperghis. | ||
